The surroundings of the cottage were absolutely beautiful, with lovely grounds to explore. the manager was very attentive and responded quickly to any issues we had. the cottage itself was spacious, comfortable, and full of character. the huge bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep.
We didn't receive fresh towels during our 5-day stay, and the fact that the toilet was also a shower room wasn't ideal. We also didn't see any staff at all during our time there, so it felt like there was little attention given to guests.

The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning grounds and peaceful surroundings. The staff, especially Robert, were excellent and always available if needed. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing break.
Food for breakfast could use more variety and options.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cloncaird! The location within the estate was fantastic, and Grooms Cottage was the perfect size and well-equipped. The castle grounds were stunning and ideal for walks. It was a great base for exploring Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway, and even Glasgow. The area has so much to offer, especially in the summer months. We had some amazing meals at local restaurants, with Wildings in Maidens being a top recommendation. Cloncaird was peaceful and relaxing, making it ideal for all age groups. Our primary contact, Robert, was excellent and always available. Highly recommend Cloncaird - you'll not regret it!
Felt at home instantly, no complaints at all.
